A San Francisco man has been arrested and is due in court today in connection with a June fatal shooting in Union City, according to police.
Alphonso Johnson, 19, was arrested on Sunday for the fatal shooting of 34-year-old Keith Hadnot in the 4200 block of Venus Place on June 14, police said.
Hadnot was found in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators eventually identified Johnson as a suspect in the case, and he was arrested Sunday upon his release from San Francisco County Jail, where he was being held on an unrelated weapons charge, according to police.
Johnson is being held without bail and was scheduled to be arraigned this morning at the Fremont Hall of Justice, according to Alameda County jail records.
