Luna Bail Bonds Santa Rosa Reports:
A Santa Rosa man wanted on domestic violence charges was captured Sunday afternoon after a citizen ran him down with a car to prevent him from fleeing, according to police.
Police were contacted shortly after 1:30 p.m. by a citizen reporting that he was at a shopping center on the 1900 block of Santa Rosa Avenue following a suspect.
The suspect, identified as Jose Rojo-Boroquez, is wanted on charges on felony assault on a spouse, false imprisonment and kidnapping in connection with a domestic violence investigation.
While police were still on their way, the caller told police he had struck Rojo-Boroquez with his vehicle to prevent him from fleeing the area.
Police arriving at the scene found Rojo-Boroquez, a 25-year-old Santa Rosa resident, lying on the ground with non life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
